Dream 9/6/16 - chanters

I have so many dreams. I record them daily and sometimes I like to share them. I can't share them all otherwise I'd have no more room on my blog lol. This one was intense and very detailed. I thought it would be an interesting one to share. I always thought I could turn many of my dreams into fiction books :-)

I had a dream. I was in a Muslim country. I was surrounded by dirt roads and a mixture of nice to run down buildings and shopping areas. I was terrified. All of a sudden I hear chants “Allah-akbar” over and over again. I hear someone call my name, "Amber!". They are trying to get my attention. I look over and see them drop to the ground into a ball (like you would in school if there were a tornado warning). I realize they are telling me to do the same so I drop just in time before the chanters reach my area. Come to find out if you don’t drop to the ground into a ball the chanters will beat you or even kill you. I felt terror!
I saw Scotty (the country singer from American Idol) and I clung to him. I told him not to leave me and to help me get out of this country and onto a plane back home. He stuck with me for a while and helped. He seemed to have strength and wisdom about the area. Another time I was on a bus and the chanters got on, so we all dropped, feeling terror again. This happened over and over at random times. Another time I entered a restaurant and saw several Muslim women dressed in  muted grayish purple body suits, head covered, no skin or eyes showing. They were sitting and waiting it seemed. They wanted me to greet them by praising their god and saying, “Allah-akbar” but I didn’t because I didn’t know it was a rule. I saw one of the ladies get up to get something and I knew she was going to try and burn me alive because I didn’t praise their god just like they had done to someone previously. They were scheming and making up rules as they went to purposely punish people. She was acting nice, and was going to cozy up next to me then strike!
My heart was racing as I slowly exited the building. I knew at any second I could go up in flames. I finally made it out and turned a few corners. I found a little nook, but it was surrounded by windows from that restaurant and they could see me. I saw more women crowded by the window and I was scared, so I purposely said it loud enough for them to hear me, “Allah-akbar” over and over. They heard and disappeared. I didn’t mean it in my heart. I said it to buy myself time to escape a heated situation.
Then at some point I hear the chanters again and they are across the street. The dirt road was as wide as a 12 lane highway. I could see the chanters and they were full of energy.  I saw lots of young people participating, which surprised me, and they didn’t seem like Muslims. They were part of  black lives matter. They carried bats and weapons and chanted terrorizing whoever they passed and banging on buildings. Again, terror.
I remember scenes of the dream where I was traveling on highways that intersected and were high like overpasses. I remember not knowing which way to go to get out of there. Eventually I didn’t see Scotty with me anymore, I assumed he left, which scared me. He wasn’t really invested in sticking with me, but more so I was clinging to him.
At some point I enter an American store in America. I felt relief. The store was so bright with white walls that it gave off a crisp blueish tint. There was cool ac running, and calming music. I remember the peace that washed over me. Normal life again! I remember telling someone in the store my experience and they said those people want their people to live in a constant state of terror. And I agreed and said that’s exactly how I felt being there.

Our well of treasures

Depending on the season we’re in it may be easy to forget all we’ve been through and the wisdom gained from those experiences. Especially, if we haven’t drawn from our well of treasures in a while. It’s important to remind ourselves of the work God has done in us and the roads we’ve traveled.
I have to remember the well I have living inside of me often. A well filled with living water, wisdom, gifts, talents and more, all waiting to be given away. We all have a well to draw from. But we won’t be quick to share these treasures if we forget we have them, if we forget our identity in Christ, or minimize the work God has accomplished in us.
Our past experiences were not in vain. The roads we’ve traveled and the jewels we’ve collected along the way are not for hoarding. We are skillful at playing head games and psyching ourselves out. Therefore, we must stay alert and stir up our gifts often. Our God is good! Our God has been faithful! We have something to offer. We have something to bring to the table.
Many times people don’t come to the table and join their brothers and sisters in Christ because they fear not having anything to bring. But, the truth is we all have something to bring. We have to stop minimizing our parts. What we have is enough because it’s what God’s entrusted to us.
We each have a special story that shouldn’t be compared to someone else’s story. Comparison leads us to minimize our well of treasures. What we minimize we no longer value. If we no longer see our unique set of gifts and talents as valuable, we won’t feel energized to pull them up.
Who we are is enough! Our journey has been planned and well thought out by our Creator. We have the tools, the insight, the wisdom and the ability to bless those around us. The treasures in our well are expensive jewels, all unique to satisfy God’s plans for our lives, that we have the honor of giving away. Remember their value. Remember to pass them out. Remember you can make a difference. Draw from the well filled with treasures living inside of you.  Remember who you are and whose you are.

We have treasures to give away!

Break Open This Box

You say don’t be afraid
You are with me always
From the first to last breath
I believe, you are for me

Break open this box
around my head
around my heart
you're better than I think

The prophet called

The same prophet that called me before hubby and I bought our first house, called me again last month.  Again, I didn’t answer because it was an unknown number, but it was saved on my voice mail. He named a spirit that was hindering my progress and said that God has something big and something major that’s going to happen for me.  He said the Lord woke him up early to give me this word.
I realize how some people will think its looney or this or that, but at the age of 32 I’ve decided not to worry what anyone thinks of me anymore. I am who I am! God told me in a dream back in my teens that He had given me the gift of prophecy and that I was a seer, so it is what it is. This gift and calling on my life consumes my whole life, it’s natural for me, and it’s easy for me. Hearing God in the little things, seeing and knowing signs, and having dreams and discernment about things. Feeling God’s yes and God’s no.  It’s who I am in Christ.
Look at John Osteen, He had countless super natural experiences and wrote about them all, not caring what others would think of him. He was even kicked out of a church and ended up starting a new church in an abandon feed store.  If people don’t accept the true you, than maybe it’s not where you belong in the first place.
I’m not the type of person that displays my spirituality in person. I think I seem pretty normal in person. I do, however, share some of my experiences online where I feel safer. I know I need more courage and confidence. That’s probably the biggest thing missing in my life.
Anyway, the message from this prophet was right on target with my life. I had been praying a little differently lately. I have been praying that anything in the spiritual realm that is blocking or hindering me to be removed in Jesus name. I got this advice from listen to Andrew Wommack many years ago. He spoke on how Daniel fasted for his answered prayers. When the angel, Gabriel, came he said the moment Daniel prayed the answer was sent, but he (Gabriel) was restrained by the prince of Persia. (Daniel 10:12-14 NIV)
Andrew went on to say that we no longer have to wait for these spirits to be removed by angels; we can command them to move in Jesus name – speeding up our answers. We have that authority over our own lives.  Knowing this for many years I still never consistently prayed in this manner. Well, for the past week, I was empowered by the Holy Spirit, and I started to pray this way countless times a day. After a week or so, I got this phone call telling me what the hindering spirit was! Wow, right?! Now I can call it by name and tell it to GO! In Jesus name!
Besides knowing the name of the spirit, it also shows, again, that if God has a word for you he will get it to you no matter what! Acknowledge God in all your ways and seek first the kingdom of God.
I hope these testimonies fill you (the reader) with faith and hope in your own life. God is no respecter of persons and if He will speak and move for me, he can move and speak for you. May your faith be energized and hope renewed.

Dream: Be removed

In my dream I saw a lady walking alone in the dark. I saw a tag, label or something attached to her belt on her back side where she couldn’t see it or know about it. I saw the sign removed.
When I woke up I thought about things, big and small, that happen repeatedly to some of us specifically social and relationship issues – some of us since we were kids. We begin to think these negative attacks, whether big or small, are personal. We begin to feel rejected, so we isolate ourselves - we get bullied to the outskirts. We may wonder if we did something wrong to deserve what keeps repeating.
In the dream this lady had a sign attached to her that she didn’t know about, like a kid at school with a “kick me” sign which encourages people who are easily influenced negatively to randomly kick the kid throughout the day. The poor kid thinks it’s personal, but it’s not. The kid goes all day being randomly kicked. Their confidences dissolves, they become fearful and confused and start avoiding people. Why is everyone against me?  They believe the lie.
Spiritually it’s the same thing. Somehow, someway, somewhere a sign gets placed on us – even as child. These signs are there to make us feel personally attacked and rejected. They give direction to negative forces who influence weak people to behave badly toward us, which in return tricks the victim into living afraid and isolated. They begin absorbing these attacks personally, not realizing it’s a spiritual set-up masquerading as truth.
(I believe) God says he’s removing these signs attached to us.

(these are my impression upon waking up)

Effortless Seasons

My tree in my backyard. Fresh lime green leaves.

As I sit here looking out my bedroom window admiring our once bare trees now covered in fresh green leaves I wonder how do they know the timing of their lives? I’m always amazed by the unison of nature and the changing of seasons. How do all the plants know when to release their leaves? How do they know when to sprout new leaves or bloom a stunning array of flowers? They smoothly transition from season to season without a hiccup or glitch.
What if our lives where meant to be that way as well, but we are too controlling to fully experience the effortless changes each season brings. What if we were to truly let go and let God? What if we relaxed and let our lives unfold? Would our lives transition smoothly as they are created to transition? Every plant is birthed with a divine timetable. They allow seasons to come and go and change them as they will. We fight. We take control. We worry. We want to know what’s next. We don’t know how to BE. We don’t know how to rest.
What if all of mankind was supposed to change with the seasons, all in unison just like the trees? What if we were all to let go and release the old at the same time? And then bloom all together? It seems powerful to think of us all flowing in peace and harmony together- everyone on the same page.

Mmm this is good!

Today I didn’t feel like reading my Bible. It sat in front of me as I stared blankly into space trying to find the discipline, the inspiration, the motivation to open and read.  As I was sitting there in a state of blah I whispered, “Holy Spirit help me because I don’t have the energy to do this”. My flesh had the upper hand and I knew it. Today of all days I needed the word to come alive and feed me. When we stop reading our Bible it becomes easier to neglect it. One day turns into four days which turns into two weeks and on it goes. Our flesh gains power and our spirit man becomes weak.
As I asked for the Holy Spirit to step in and help me with my state of blah, He almost instantly flashes a picture of my dogs eating pattern and I know exactly what He’s communicating. You see, my little dogs never eat on their own. They simply stare at their food in a state of blah just like me. I have to spoon feed them, get some food on their tongue to awaken their hunger and stir up their appetite.  After they get a little taste they quickly devour their food on their own. The Holy Spirit flashed this picture to encourage me to taste the word and see what happens.
Simply open the Bible and read. Read with your bad attitude, read while huffing and puffing, read while rolling your eyes and wishing you were doing something else. Just read it! As you read your spirit will gain strength and your appetite will awaken. Miraculously, within minutes you are already changing and you find yourself saying, “Mmm this is good!” As you continue to read you find yourself wanting more until you spirit man is satisfied.
